  • Austin has spent his entire life around rodeo. He lives and breathes it. Growing up around a cattle ranch in Salinas, CA, he began rodeoinโ€™ in high school. He quickly found a love for not only the sport, but the industry and started his own lifestyle brand, known as Cowboy Fresh. Years after Austin retired from bull riding competition, he decided to take Cowboy Fresh on the road. It was there that he discovered a love for creating rodeo content online, usually from the perspective of the contestants themselves. Once videos he was creating started going viral, he knew he was onto something, and The Rodeo Trail was born!

  • Courtney is a first generation cowkid and equestrian who found her love for horses and rodeo all on her own, and dragged her mom to every event she could get to as a kid. As an adult, she evolved into a dressage rider and spent many years traveling with the sport, going as far as Florida and Spain to chase the dream. After college, she picked up a camera and began working in social media marketing, learning quickly that what lit her fire was creating. After working together at California Rodeo Salinas, Courtney & Austin began collaborating, creating for both Cowboy Fresh & The Rodeo Trail. She now travels alongside Austin, capturing video and social media content rarely seen on the internet.

  • Although Megan grew up in Salinas watching old Westerns with her dad & riding horses with friends as a kid, it wasnโ€™t until a bad car crash in 2020 that she decided wanted to be of service to others and decided to transition aware from the fitness industry to pursue a career as a Western lifestyle advocate & Agvocate. She began making funny reels & TikTok about the myths & misconceptions about ag & rodeo and using her platform to raise awareness for issues facing the Western lifestyle community. In 2022, Megan started a campaign on social media called #AgLetsTalk๐Ÿฅฌ to raise awareness for mental health struggles within the ag community. In the Winter of 2022 she joined The Rodeo Trail as our social media manager extraordinaire.

  • Meet Brooks Forsythe, a seasoned freestyle bullfighter and talented filmmaker with a passion for capturing the raw and real stories of the rodeo world. With years of experience in the arena, Brooks has developed a keen eye for detail and an understanding of the intensity and emotion of the sport. As the creator and director of "Bulls for Breakfast," a documentary series that highlights the hard work and dedication of bullfighters, bull riders, and bull stock contractors, Brooks brings a unique and authentic perspective to the world of rodeo. Brooksโ€™s experience as a bullfighter, combined with his skills as a cinematographer and director, make him one of the most sought-after talents in the industry. He is dedicated to bringing the beauty and excitement of rodeo to life for audiences around the world through his captivating films.
